If you’ve been reading my site regularly, then I’m sure you’ve been wondering if I had dropped off the face of the earth. Sorry for the prolonged absence! I had a very busy few months at work and some other personal commitments, and the blog was one of the things that I just didn’t have time for. But now I’m back, and should be posting more regularly once again. Thanks for bearing with me!

Even during these busy months I was able to carve out a little time for gaming here and there, and there are a handful of Top 100 games I’m excited to write about in the coming weeks and months, including:

• Android: Netrunner
• Battlestar Galactica
• Star Wars X Wing Miniatures
• Race for the Galaxy
• Dominion (and Dominion: Intrigue)
• Lords of Waterdeep

I’ve also started a campaign of Pandemic Legacy Season 2, and it has been simply outstanding so far. I’ve been writing up recaps for my group after each game, and I’m going to start publishing those monthly, beginning with the Prologue in December. They’ll be written in the form of journal entries, from the point of view of individual characters in the game. All the proper spoiler warnings will be provided at the outset. I’m really excited for this feature and hope that you’ll enjoy it!

Additionally, I’m thinking about writing a little more about games outside the Top 100 that I also very much enjoy. There are a lot more than 100 good games out there, and the BGG rankings can often underrate lighter games. Also, it takes a while for even the hottest new games to garner enough votes to climb up the charts. So I’m hoping to add an occasional post with brief thoughts about some of these games, or even an occasional long-form post spotlighting a not-Top-100 game I’m really enamored with.
