This past weekend, my wife and I traveled to Tampa, FL to visit family. Of course I had to bring a game along, but it had to be something that was light, both in terms of game weight and physical weight. I chose to bring One Night Ultimate Werewolf, which was a big hit.
I love social deduction games, and I particularly think One Night Ultimate Werewolf is a great one to play with gamers and non-gamers alike. Even for those who are averse to learning a new game, it’s so quick (~5-10 minutes) that it’s easy to do a run-through and learn as you play rather than listening to someone read the rulebook.

Also, the free companion app for One Night Ultimate Werewolf is easily among the best– it’s a must have if you are playing any of the One Night titles. It does all the hard work for you, so you can just pick the roles you’re using, pick the background music (I personally like “Wolves” and “Spaghetti”), and enjoy the game.

By the time we finally stuck to our promise of “one last game”, my brother-in-law and his wife were already asking where we bought One Night Ultimate Werewolf. I love introducing friends and family to a game and getting that kind of response.
In terms of upcoming Top 100 reviews, expect a Ticket to Ride: Europe review this Friday. I’ve had the TTR app for a while, and that expansion got quite a bit of play time while in transit this past weekend. On Sunday, I’m super excited to try Scythe for the first time with a friend who just recently acquired it!
